When I was very little I lived with my grandmother in a small village. We had all kinds of pets and farm animals around the house. My beloved dog's name was Bell, my grandma's cat's Jolan. The backyard abounded in chicken, ducks, geese, a goat named Katyi and a pig with her little piglets. Oh, and lots of bunnies. These days I live in an apartment building in NYC and the management allows only cats. I am glad I can keep my inherited cat Nicki, whom I love dearly. He is a senior cat. My daughter adopted him from the local shelter and in two months he ended up at my house. I am glad he did.
